Overview

The New South Wales (NSW) Branch of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) ↗ was established in 2021.

The Branch provides an interdisciplinary scholarly community of regional and metropolitan members who promote the development of higher education policy, practice, and scholarship of teaching and learning. The Branch also provides opportunities for professional leadership and capability development for members.

About HERDSA

HERDSA is a scholarly society dedicated to the advancement of higher education. Founded in 1972, its overarching purpose is “to bring together and support those people who are engaged in teaching in higher education, in the study of learning, teaching and policy in higher education, and in the continuous improvement of higher education” (HERDSA Constitution).
